Congratulations to our Middle School POWER Student of the Month for November. Students are nominated for exemplifying/practicing the POWER expectations. POWER Expectations are POSITIVE, OWNERSHIP, WE WORK TOGETHER, EMPATHY, RESPONSIBILITY, RESPECT. Lux was nominated and selected for the following reasons: Lux has been doing a great job of staying POSITIVE and completing her work. She asks questions when she has them. Her scores are improving and she has been taking her time to complete her tasks which demonstrates OWNERSHIP in her schoolwork. Lux is also willing to help others in need and is a good friend to her peers. She shows EMPATHY by being a good friend and is nice to her fellow students and teachers. She also demonstrates EMPATHY for herself when she struggles with an assignment, she take a minute, regroups and pushes through. Lux is RESPECTFUL to staff and peers and has been doing a great job of being RESPONSIBLE in completing her work, listening and following direction and uses a planner to stay organized. Great job, Lux!
