Congratulations to our Middle School POWER Student of the Month for February. Students are nominated for exemplifying/practicing the POWER expectations. POWER Expectations are POSITIVE, OWNERSHIP, WE WORK TOGETHER, EMPATHY, RESPONSIBILITY, RESPECT.
Makenna was nominated and selected for the following reasons: Makenna exceeds expectations in school. In class, she follows the rules and is respectful to her peers and teachers. She is attentive to discussions and is always giving input and answering questions. She is a natural leader. When students are in groups, she immediately takes on the role of leader but is empathetic and respectful to group members by valuing their opinions and thoughts. She goes above and beyond in the classroom in terms of academics and is always giving her best effort.
