Today, ZS Construction came to speak to our Careers and Employability class! Zach shared his knowledge and experience in construction and sparked a lot of interest among our students. Construction is a career many of our students are interested in learning more about and pursuing in the future.

Middle school science students have been learning an integral part of science - the scientific method. Students have been working through steps such as asking scientific questions, researching, creating a hypothesis, identifying components of experiments, gathering data from experiments, and how to present data. Students got to put all of these skills into action centered around paper airplanes. Students wrapped up the prep work by getting to have fun flying their airplanes while also using important math skills. This will be great practice for the students when science fair time comes around!

If you are interested oral interp please sign up and pick out your piece before the end of the school day on Friday. Please see Mrs. Gakin with any questions.
