FCCLA would like to thank everybody who donated to our coin challenge for Gary Gjesdal. We had the privilege of presenting Gary with a check of $1,574.31, on Saturday, at the VFW soup and sandwich benefit. He was truly humbled.
Boys 7-12 Track meeting in Mount Vernon (Coach K's room) at 4:00 on March 17th. This will be a short informational meeting and practice will officially start on Tuesday, March 18th.

Congratulations to our Middle School POWER Student of the Month for March. Students are nominated for exhibiting POWER expectations daily. Stella was nominated for the following reasons - Stella has demonstrated her dedication to the POWER values of respect, responsibility and safety. She is a positive role model in our school consistently demonstrating kindness and leadership. She has shown vast improvements in her work ethic since the beginning of the year. She does an excellent job of keeping track of her assignments and making sure her work is completed and handed in on time. Stella actively participates, listens attentively, and supports her classmates by offering help, when needed. Stella has worked hard on self advocacy and her confidence has grown. Her respectful attitude toward teachers and peers creates an environment where everyone feels valued.
