The MVP Boosters would like to invite everyone for a pregame tailgate on the east side of Hero's Field this Friday October 14, starting at 5 pm prior to the football game with Winner. Burgers will be provided by the Army National Gaurd and the boosters will provide buns, chips and condiments. This will be a Free Will Donation Event and Booster Members get the meal for free. Please bring a chair and your personal drink. Spread the word and we hope to see you there.
Scholastic book fair in full swing! Books will be set up by the schools front doors for parent/teacher conferences and back to the library. Come check out the great selection!
Kindergarten and 1st grade had some fun with our parachute unit this week! Colors, numbers, languages, and motor skills can all be implemented into parachute lessons in PE!

The middle school Exploratory Wellness class has been working on some basic yoga movements to improve their flexibility. We do yoga once a week!

The Plankinton Jr. and Sr. FCCLA chapters will be offering free babysitting on Monday, Oct.10th from 2-8 p.m. in the Plankinton Community Library. Let us watch your child/children while you are at conferences.
The Spanish I class made “una poema diamanté” (a diamond shaped poem) using adjectives describing themselves! Come see them hanging in the hall!
The Leadership and Service class went to the cemetery to clean tombstones. It was an honor to provide this service.
Whitney Payne who is a member of the Plankinton Sr. FCCLA chapter took part in the South Dakota Fall Leadership training on October 2 & 3 in Huron. Last spring she was selected to be a member of the Current Trends Leadership Team.
Our library theme this season is "Fall in Love with Reading" 🍁captured our pre-k and 3rd graders!
The Personal Finance class is learning about credit and debt this week. They made some fancy posters to learn about the differences in credit cards and reading the “fine print”!
