Congratulations to our Senior High POWER Student of the Month for November. Students are nominated for exemplifying/practicing the POWER expectations. Nazar was nominated for always having a positive attitude toward his classmates, teachers and schoolwork. He is a pleasure to be around. He is always helpful and kind.

Congratulations to our Junior High POWER Student of the Month for November. Students are nominated for exemplifying/practicing the POWER expectations. Olivia was nominated for caring about the work she does and making sure she fixes any mistakes that she might make. She is respectful enough when to joke around and when to take things seriously. Olivia shows responsibility by always listening to directions the first time and very rarely has late or missing assignments.

The Workplace Technology class put their "Canva" skills to work by editing photos for a hilarious Thanksgiving edit!




The Plankinton Drama department presents "Here Comes the Cows" by Tim Kelly tonight at 6:30! Moooooooooo!

The preschool class has been busy with various Fall and Thanksgiving art projects! These are more about the process than the finished product and encourage them to work on fine motor skills, a very important preschool skill! Happy Thanksgiving!




Fifth graders have been working hard in their first year of band! Now that they have several lessons "under their belt" they have earned their first reward in Mr. Stoebner's reward system- their "White Belt" of band. Good work, kids!!

Fourth grade has been doing a STEAM (science technology engineering art math) this week about ice cream. Students read the science behind making ice cream and used technology to research about ice cream. Today, they became engineers by using physical changes to turn ingredients into ice cream, which of course were enjoyed after with toppings!










Second grade has been doing "Pop-tastic" Work in Happy Numbers and were rewarded with some popping candy. They are bursting with lots of new math facts!



The Plankinton library and elementary students appreciated Veteran Tara Bush coming in to read and answer questions about her time serving in the Army. Thank you Tara 🇺🇸

District Oral Interp competition was held today in Mitchell and Plankinton School had a great day! We have three participants advancing to region competition next week. Rosie in Poetry, Jenna in Serious, and Megan in Storytelling. Our other participants-Dylan in Humorous, Alyssa and Alexis in Duet, Caden in Oratory, and Nyomi, Suri, Maycee, Jenna, Layce, and Rosie in Reader's Theatre- are alternates. So proud of all of the students!!!!
