The fourth grades worked hard celebrating the 100th day! They enjoyed writing a letter to their 100 year old selves, made bucket lists, and even did a workout that equaled 100. Fourth grade is 100 days SMARTER, and 100 workouts STRONGER! 💪📓✏️💯

Seventh grade science has been learning about cellular respiration and how our bodies use oxygen and glucose to make ATP, which we use for energy. Students burned different foods under a can of water and found the temperature increase in order to calculate calories. This allowed them to see how different foods have different calories and therefore provide different energy amounts.
Sixth grade science students created clouds in jars by dropping a lit match into a jar of water and covering the top to observe the process of condensation. They used different variables (hot vs cold water, one match vs three matches, and a cold topper vs a hot topper to the jar) to see which conditions created the most condensation.
Preschool celebrated the 100th day of school on Friday, Feb 6! They completed a 100 piece puzzle during centers, made 100 day crowns and made a fun snack mix!
