Come out to the ballfield and support the MVP girls softball team tonight! There will be a concession stand with proceeds going to the Plankinton Summer Rec Program!
Congratulations to our Senior High POWER Student of the Month for March. Students are nominated for exemplifying/practicing the POWER expectations. Lena was nominated for: always having a positive attitude, being respectful and wanting others to do well, always on time, willing and ready to learn, and Lena always makes sure everyone is included.

Second graders are officially published authors! They put together an amazing book as a class and I couldn't be more proud of them!
The junior high kids will NOT be going to Platte for track on Thursday, April 18th. Also, the Greenway Relays that were supposed to be in MV on Friday, April 19th will not be taking place on that date due to forecasted weather conditions!
Preschool roundup for any child that will be 4 before September 1st is tomorrow afternoon, April 17th, from 2:30-3:30

Reminder that spring sports picture day is tomorrow, April 17th, at 2:00 in Mount Vernon! There are order forms with Mary at the front desk or you can order online!
Reminder! Tomorrow 4/17/2024 we will be having the Spring Sports Pictures taken at 2 pm. There are forms located in the office or you can go online and order. This is for Golf, Track, and Softball. This does NOT include baseball as it is not a school sanctioned sport.

Congratulations to this year's inductees into National Honor Society: Nyomi Manzano, Dylan Radke, Karter Weber, Haley Faulhaber, Suri Schmidt, Layce Bruns, Jenna Haak, Lili Gislason, and Rossbeli Choc. The induction ceremony and banquet is Tuesday, April 16th in the commons. RSVP's are due Friday, April 12th with payment of $15 per guest.

The fourth graders have been learning about energy and the different ways it is stored and transferred. They made a simple chain reaction displaying energy storage and transfer. They were then challenged to create their own chain reaction with a goal of creating the most energy transfers.
