Its been a busy week learning about D in preschool! We read fun books....one of them was If You Give a Dog a 🍩 Donut and then we made donut decorations for our lockers. We also decorated our names with dot markers, played doctor and dominoes, and painted and colored dinosaur pictures!

some early morning workouts for staff and seniors today.

The kindergarten class earned a treat for being so sweet! They know how to make good choices in the classroom!

The language acquisition students have been working on advanced vocabulary and using proper parts of speech. Well done gentlemen!

8th grade computer class presented their "If then adventure stories" today. They used google slides to complete the story. Very interesting imaginations!

The 8th grade science class has been learning about various forms of energy, including elastic potential energy in which energy is stored through stretching and compressing. Students created their own toy devices showcasing this energy.

Seventh grade science is currently learning about weather and what influences it as well as how to predict upcoming weather. Students will work in groups to create a PHS News Report, including a current events, sports, and weather section using what they are learning.

Fifth grade is learning about early American Indian societies and their early settlements. In these settlements, they began to practice agriculture, which led to blending of cultures due to staying in one place longer. Students modeled how to learn new skills with no verbal communication, just as some early settlers did when they didn't share cultures or languages. We used non verbal skills only to teach a group of teacher-selected classmates a new card game.
