Fifth grade is working through two science standards currently that challenge us to understand shadow patterns created by the sun
. We learned where the idea of tracking time using 12-24 hours came from as well! We made shadow clocks, utilized a digital compass, and practiced telling time using shadows created by the sun. We also used artificial sunlight with flashlights to tell time.








Second graders estimated if they could reach the center of a Tootsie Pop with 100 licks. About 45 minutes later some students were in the thousands and still no luck! They sure had fun!






For the 100th day of school, the fourth grade did different activities throughout the day. One was working together to write 100 appreciations to different staff members to show their thanks for all that they do.


We had our Kids Heart Challenge kick-off this morning. The kids are excited they are so close to turning Mrs. Victor into a human sundae! If they raise $3,000, they also get to turn Mrs. Johnson into a human sundae!






The preschoolers celebrated the 100th day of school by doing activities, singing songs, listening to stories and making snack mix! we have been waiting anxiously for this day since the 1st day of preschool back in August!
