Sundaes at the PHS Coronation on Wed., Aug. 31st! The Plankinton Jr. and Sr. FCCLA members will be offering Sundaes from 5:45-6:45 p.m. in the commons. This will be a free will donation with the proceeds going to FCCLA expenses for Region and State meetings! Thank you for your support!

Schedule changes:
The JH and JV Football games tonight are in FORESTBURG.
The VB game vs BH which was originally schedules for Thursday, September 1, has been moved to Monday, October 17.
The JV football game vs TDA on September 6th has been cancelled as TDA has cancelled their JV season due to lack of numbers.
Congratulations to the 2022 Homecoming Royalty Candidates. Candidates for King are Rylan Bush, Kris Guindon and Drew Gerlach. Candidates for Queen are Josie Hoffman, Kenzie Davis and Lizbeth Guzman. Crown Bearers are Wes Johnson and Charlie Everson. Coronation will be held August 31st at 7 pm.

A reminder that we have a 2:00 pm Early Dismissal tomorrow Friday, August 26th.
“Hit Me With Your Best Shot” is a fundraiser for the Plankinton Swimming Pool to be matched up to $500 by Modern Woodmen of America.
Each student in grades K-12 will be able to purchase water balloon(s) $1 each or 6-$5 to pitch at their favorite lifeguard or Plankinton School staff volunteers.
This will take place on FRIDAY, AUGUST 26th on the school grounds at 1:00 and be finished in time for the students to go home by their normal routine.
Please send their money on Friday, August 26th.
There will NOT be a jv football game today(8/22). Wagner does not have enough players due to injuries.
FOOTBALL FRIDAY!! Just a reminder to all patrons that we now have parking and a ticket booth on the west side of Heroes' Field - thanks to Maria Baker's senior project!! GO TITANS!!
Attention all Mt. Vernon and Plankinton HS Students!! There will be a 5th quarter on Friday! It will be hosted by at the Richard and Charlotte Larsch residence. Walking tacos will be the main course. Hope to see you there!

A sports physical is required before starting but it’s not too late. If you already have a physical show up tomorrow morning to ride the practice bus which will leave at 7:40 from Plankinton.

The Plankinton School District is getting ready to launch our new Plankinton School Webpage and mobile app to help students, parents, and community members know what is happening on campus through their phones! We will also be using Apptegy Alert System to notify households and parents in case of an emergency or unplanned events such as early dismissals, school cancellations, or late starts.
Through the new Apptegy System, we will be able to send messages out using both your email address and phone number. In order to have the correct information in the system we need you to provide the information by sending in the paper form you received via mail or complete this google doc.
