Junior girls had a blast at the jump rope station, while the junior boys did relay. A successful field day in the books!
To end the school year, 7th graders created solar system models.
To wrap up the school year, the 8th graders created egg drop contraptions to withstand a 15 foot drop. Students were given a budget model and an unlimited model. Multiple students found success with both the limited and unlimited one!
The academic achievements of the best and brightest students of the Class of 2025 were recognized recently at the 35th Annual Academic Excellence Recognition luncheon in Pierre. Governor Larry Rhoden and the Associated School Boards of South Dakota (ASBSD) honored students who were identified as the top one percent of their senior class. Congrats to Abby Davis for earning this award for PHS.

Tomorrow is the Elementary Music Concert! 4th grade parents need to meet in music room at 6:15 for a brief meeting regarding summer lessons and band for next year. All other students need to be in their classroom by 6:45. Please reach out to either Stoebner with questions!

Second grade finished their unit on money and visited the bank today! We got to see ALL the things and the kids loved it! They each left with a dollar coin! I have some excited kiddos! Thank you to everybody at Farmers & Merchant Bank. We had a blast!

Students helped cleanup around town today to help out others for service day! Thanks for everyone who reached out asking for a helping hand from the students.
Thanks to Plank'd Coffee for their charcuterie board of snacks and the coffee shop drinks they provided to all staff for Teacher Appreciation Week.
Congratulations to Ellen Hohbach and all the FCCLA members on an excellent showing at the state event last week in Sioux Falls. Twelve students earned a trip to Nationals in Orlando, Florida in July! Congrats to everyone.
