The Plankinton School District School Lunch Program is looking to use local beef for our lunch program. The lunch program uses approximately 2200 lbs of beef during the school year which equates 3 - 4 head of beef.
The Beef to School program is designed to introduce school aged children to local producers by offering locally raised beef at lunch. Please see the article on the school district website for more detailed information,
We have very much enjoyed the first donation of local beef, so much so, that it is all just about eaten up!
We are reaching out to see if any local producers would be interested in donating the next round of beef.
